What actually changed

Until this year Class 9 Social Science was four thin books that could be revised one at a time. It is now a single subject in two volumes, and the themes are deliberately mixed: a theme on the market sits beside one on elections, and early civilisation beside the shaping of the earth's surface. The habit of "finishing History first" does not survive the change.

What CBSE does not publish
